Lee Sun Ryou

Lee Sun Ryou

The artist Lee Soon-ryeo unfolds the memory that began with a charred shadow on the side of his heart on the canvas. The artist has been working on looking back on himself as a third-generation Korean-Japanese, traveling between Korea and Japan. I paid attention to the changes that occur when I reflect on myself and communicate with the world beyond. This work is an exhibition of his own black plastic bags, inked and collected fragments of memory.
