Johannes Vermeer

He was born on 31 October 1632 in Delft, Netherlands. Little details are known about his life, and his evaluation was hidden for a long time, but only in the mid-19th century was he recognized. Born as the son of a painter, he took over his job after his father passed away in 1655. As a painter, it was influenced by Karel Fabrizius, but it is not clear whether there was a priestly relationship between the two.
